New UFC Owners Fed Up With The USADA, Major Changes In The Works.

The Fertitta Brothers made an aggrement with the USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency) to implement full Olympic level testing in the UFC. Since this testing began, fighters performances and body shapes have changed drastically. The Ferttitas sold to WME earlier this year and the UFC 200 Steroid debacle was their first event and it apparently left a bitter taste in their mouths.

We spoke with 2 managers who want to remain nameless, and we’re told that the new owners are going to eliminate the USADA program before years end. They see it as a major problem and believe the sport was greater without it. So does this mean the UFC is going back to the Dark Ages of testing? Not necessarily, most likely the company will resort back to the “night of the fight” testing before and after the fight. More information soon.
