UFC 206 is not too far away and in desperate need of a main event and former champion Georges St. Pierre is now completely out of the running because of contract issues. UFC Superstar Nick Diaz has been cleared to fight for awhile now but the only thing holding him back is a $70,000 balance he owes to the NSAC. Michael Bisping announced recently that he has been cleared by doctors to begin training again and announced a few days ago that he wants to fight on the UFC 206 card. With top contenders Luke Rockhold, Chris Weidman, Gegard Mousasi, Yoel Romero and Tim Kennedy all booked, the UFC has reached out to the Diaz Camp.

Sources near Nick Diaz’s camp have told us that he has been offered a middleweight title shot with Michael Bisping in Toronto. The only hold up is the $70,000 fine which the Diaz camp is petitioning the UFC to pay in order for him to accept the fight. The deal is expected to get done and an announcement should be coming in the next few days. More information soon.
